What we’ve failed to consider about policy and voting.
Here are some of the Policies that we collectively Vote into Being every day through our Acceptance:
The Policy that says it’s okay to Profit off the basic needs of other beings
The Policy that says it’s okay to waste resources producing low quality goods
The Policy that says it’s okay to have children without any training or preparation
The Policy that says it’s okay to compromise the education of human beings due to profit interests
The Policy that says it’s okay to dedicate decades of time and resources to pursuits like interplanetary travel and entertainment while half the world is unable to have their basic needs fulfilled
The Policy that says it’s okay to Value the pursuit of one’s own happiness above the pursuit of a world that is Best for Everyone
How can any leadership figure be trusted with Life, if these basic Policies of Abuse and Neglect are Accepted and Allowed?
